Staveley rd W4
Brief: Living room refurbish and re decoration. This room was huge and bland. It had wonderful high ceilings and a feature wall that needed impact. I selected a striking wallpaper with which everything else worked around. I selected a sofa with right hand chaise to as my Client Lovely was heavily pregnant and wanted somewhere to curl up. The two armless chairs in striking raspberry keep it open and the luxurious rug is heavenly underfoot. We rebuilt and sprayed the Media unit to work in with the wallpaper ground colour. I choose an elegant neutral trevira fabric that appeared to be silk but will be hardy in the bright sunlight that comes flooding in to dress that striking window. The lamps on either side of the media unit are Kartell and offer a bit of edge.. I chose a striped velvet fabric that incorporated all of the colours and had cushions made to scatter over all of the seating. A modern coffee table, a tone darker than the media unit, was also selected. This room was so exciting and satisfying to do. My Client Lovely was a joy to work with and was so happy with the result.
Testimonial:
As a pregnant mum of two I struggled with the time and decision making that went with refreshing and redesigning my front room. I contacted Fleur because of her amazing recommendations and I was not disappointed. Fleur is hugely talented, patient and a pleasure to work with. I now have an amazing lounge that I love and everyone comments about!
