Monique approached us with a vision for her listed home. She wanted a kitchen that complemented the old and new parts of the house.

We designed the island with double-sided storage beneath the seating area. This clever use of space provided all the storage she needed while keeping the kitchen feeling open and uncluttered. Painted in the fabulously lush Yeabridge Green by Farrow & Ball, the island instantly became the room’s focal point.

The remaining Shaker-style cabinetry was painted in Farrow & Ball’s James White, an off-white with a slight green hue which beautifully complements the island. Monique worked with one of our in-house designers, Martyna, to select this contrasting palette, creating a design that felt personal and perfectly suited to her home.

The double oven sits centrally within a bank of full-height cupboards. These cupboards also house integrated appliances, ensuring a seamless finish.

Monique chose a Ca’ Pietra aged stone porcelain floor, which adds warmth and texture to the kitchen. She commented, “The aged stone tiles add so much character.” The cabinetry is finished with unlacquered brass knobs, chosen for their refined feel and timeless appeal.

A roof lantern above the island fills the space with natural light, making the green dominate the room.

We installed a simple granite slab backsplash for the hob area—a sleek and easy-to-clean solution that complements the overall design.
