Dennis Sharp Architects have won the 2009 Hertfordshire Architects Design Award for their work in the Conservation area at Aspenden Village. DSA transformed a house that had been poorly maintained and suffered from badly considered alterations and extensions. DSA created a sense of grandeur, opened up the rooms and restored the proportions of the original design by eliminating the poorly located toilets and bathrooms and inserting new services seamlessly into the house at the rear and the front.
