To transform a north London new build flat into a modern, interesting, warm and characterful home, for well travelled newlyweds who are seldom in the same country at the same time.
The brief is to furnish and decorate the hallway, living room, both bedrooms and office, as well as design a bespoke kitchen island and extendable dining room table.
To make the space more functional, the 3rd bedroom was reallocated as an office.
Additional storage in the generous hallway cupboard will reduce clutter and allow the clean, open-plan feeling that we have created in the kitchen and living room, to extend into the hall.
The design is very much a base for the couple to build on, it brings together and curates all the items they have accumulated on their travels and sets up a flexible space that will grow with them.
No building works were required for this project.
