Wolfstone Windows
This photo shows the option of slightly raising them off the floor. Reverse the materials on these windows: Oak interior with white trim that disappears into the wall. The trim doesn't need to be as skinny. That is what we are proposing with the white oak window/white trim model. Alternatively, it can all be white with pine windows painted white. The white oak windows are going to be about 35% more expensive than the pine.
If you look VERY closely in the upper left hand corner of the left window you can see these windows are trimmed the way we are proposing. Flat stock frames the windows. It is painted the same color as the walls, and blends in seamlessly. These windows are flush with the floor. We can do this with a small piece of trim matching the floors covering the edge of the windows. If you look closely, you can see they have a piece of wood trim meeting the window at the floor. This height increases the size of the glass to require tempered glass and that is plus $700 or so. Lynn is fine having the windows slightly off the floor, but we would have to raise the bottom 18" not to have tempered glass. I am fine with them a few inches off the floor too, but given the choice I think it would be nice for them to come all the way to the floor. 18 is too high.
