Arched ceiling expands contemporary kitchen

Wide maple floor planks extend throughout the Kitchen. The original flat ceiling was replaced with a barrel vault and a series of large, north-facing skylights that flood the room with indirect light. Solid cherry cabinets offset the stainless steel GE Monogram appliances. The island cooktop utilizes a snorkel downdraft hood with a remote fan. Visually discreet when not in use, the snorkel rises at the touch of a button from the rear of the cooktop.
