Hobsons ChoiceThe shape of the bathroom, and the internal characteristics of the property, provided the ingredients to create a challenging layout design. The sloping ceiling, an internal flue from the ground-floor woodburning stove, and the exposed timber architecture.
The puzzle was solved by the inclusion of a dwarf wall behind the bathtub in the centre of the room. It created the space for a large walk-in shower that wasn’t compromised by the sloping ceiling or the flue.
The exposed timber and brickwork of the Cotswold property add to the style of the space and link the master ensuite to the rest of the home.

Artistic Design And RemodelingLight and Airy shiplap bathroom was the dream for this hard working couple. The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls.
The center point of the room is the new window and two new rustic beams. Centered in the beams is the rustic chandelier.
