Children's Play Room (Menlo Park)

These homeowners were frustrated with their children’s play room, and I could see why.
A large white train set table in the far left corner stood out like a sore thumb. Mismatched storage bins were scattered about. There was no sense of order or flow to the space, just toys and books and stuffed animals lying around with no real intention. And as cluttered as it already felt, the wife was also hoping to find a way to bring the children’s table and chair sets back into the room where they rightfully belonged. What to do?
By decluttering the space, ridding of items that the kids no longer played with, putting a lot of the books and small toys into the storage bins, hiding the bins underneath the train table (they fit perfectly), and repositioning both the table and area rug, we not only increased the space but also changed the qi of the room:
