The homeowners renovated this home where she grew up. A wall was removed between the kitchen and former formal living room creating an open family room. A new island was installed to provide an informal eating area. Hardwood floors were discovered under the old carpeting and were refinished throughout the home. The fireplace was updated to function for the homeowners' life style.
