Colorful Ranch

Eclectic, Boston

French doors were added to the closed off dining area, and a wall was opened to create a micro office for at the ultimate homework/craft room/landing zone. The additional light and action turned the dining room from a dead end into a space the family and their guests wanted to utilize. Furniture arrangement was used to divide the boxcar living dining area while still keeping the rooms connected. The oak wardrobe functions to break up the wall, divide the spaces and provides storage for table linens and entertainment pieces. Burlap wall paint flows into an accent wall in the dining room of textured floral wallpaper with a burlap base color.
