Contemporary Kitchen Remodel Done in a Two-Tone Color

This common neighborhood kitchen underwent quite a transformation. First, we eliminated the existing raised bar top and made it one level. We then removed the microwave cabinet on the range wall and replaced it with a wall mounted range hood. The kitchen cabinets were in good condition, so cabinet refacing was the perfect solution for this couple. The upper cabinets were refaced in a Stratus Super Matte, while the base cabinets were done in Haze Super Matte. All doors and drawer fronts were converted from standard to full overlay in a shaker door style. Next, we installed a new Carrera Venatino quartz countertop and a white picket style vertical backsplash tile. To finish the new look a white Kraus undermount sink, bronze faucet, soap dispenser & pulls were installed as well as a new contemporary bronze light fixture, countertop bar glass cleaner and a 35qt waste pullout. This young couple couldn’t be happier with their kitchen now reflecting their modern style.
