Everyone knows patience is a virtue—and that having a long-term goal usually works to one’s advantage. The principle has worked well for Houstonian Nanette Cornish. At age 22, she graduated with a BS in pharmacy, and 10 years after purchasing a dream home for her and her son, she has realized her vision for the space.
