Extension to 1920's Property, Alexandra Palace

Contemporary Kitchen, London

An extension to a 1920's property takes advantage of the existing level change down to the garden by dropping the internal floor level to create a generous space and a superb addition to the property. The client desired an elegant and traditional kitchen to compliment the eye catching range cooker. Three distinct areas are created in kitchen - dark marble and antique glass frame the cooker, a carrara marble work surface and crackle glaze tile splash back surround the sink, and the island is one large uninterrupted piece of white resin.

The back of the existing house extended as far as the new roof light – the line of black pendant lights marks it out....
