Fab family bathroom

Transitional Bathroom, New York

This 50s home had the original, sad pink and gray tile with the simplest fixtures. The newly renovated fun and funky bathroom was created with playing on pattern and texture in whites and grays. The wood look radiant heated tile sets the foundation. Adequate lighting was essential to make the space seem bright. Face level sconces were added for optimal lighting. In shower lighting was added as well as a fan/light combo on a timer to prevent mildew. Chrome fixtures add brightness and shine. A single accent wall of striped wallpaper brings pop and energy and ties all of the shades of white and gray together.
