Louis & Antwanette
Traditional Bedroom, Melbourne
Here in the master bedroom, the window treatment selected comprised of traditional soft roman blinds with scalloped base and tassel trim, finished with a headboard mounted stretched, but formed, triple swag interspersed with jabots (short tails) and end-tails.
To complete the treatment sheers were used instead of roller screens in keeping with the traditional look and providing a much softer projection.
Although coordinated padded pelmets could have been utilised, they would have emphasised the formal lines and structure of the bay window. The treatment selected not only combines three very different treatment types, but the swag and tail finish complements and softens the overall effect.
