Louis Poulsen Doo-Wop Suspension Light

Contemporary Hallway & Landing

The Doo Wop Suspension Light was first designed in the 1950s in collaboration with the Navy Buildings Department. The Doo Wop, originally called the Navy Light, was widely used in the 1950s due to its unique lighting properties and practicality. The new version is very close to the original and the production methods are the same today as they were then. The shades are still spun by hand and completed with a fine rolled edge, though a new set of colours have since been introduced. The Doo Wop can be used in a number of environments from the kitchen, dining room and living room to the office and meeting room.
