Modern Bench: Poul Kjaerholm PK80 Bench by Fritz Hasen
Contemporary Living Room, New York
oul Kjaerholm PK80 Bench: a modernist masterpieceā¢ from Stardust. The distinctive minimalist PK80 Bench was designed by Poul Kjaerholm (Danish spelling is Poul KjƦrholm) in 1957. PK80 was specified by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York where it is used as a museum bench. Claude Monet's Water Lilies (1914-26) and Jackson Pollock's One: Number 31 (1951), look absolutely stunning when observed from the equally iconic PK80 bench. We at Stardust Modern Design also like the PK80 for quick modernist power naps...nothing wrong with that! http://www.stardust.com/PK80.html
