Transitional Living Room, New Orleans
The small opening between the living room/entry and the stairway hall was widened to its maximum extent to create a flow between spaces from front of house to back. Existing wood floors were lacquered to a high shine throughout. Wood trim was added to the living room walls as a decorative element between windows.
