While the existing gardens at this lavish home were hardy, they lacked pizzazz. The plantings were supplemented with colorful, long-blooming species that create variety and interest through several seasons. Oversized rectangular pavers now definea path through the lawn from the lower courtyard to the upper pool terrace.
