This is the formal living room of this house and was designed to maximize seating in this long room for social and family gatherings. The walls are decorative painted in a soft strie, the windows swathed in a pale blue grey wool, and the floor is covered in a stripe sisal to give the serious antiques and dressy fabrics a little less formality.
