“Just an hour or two before I suffered a huge fall: riding a camel, suddenly scared by a child inside a tiny village, made me falling with my unprotected head in the ground (hands occupied holding and protecting the cameras…). We went on, but I became in pain and totally flustered for hours, each time worst. And then became the sand storm, but the non controlled vice of shooting (photographs only…) remained inside me at last we departed in search of medical assistance. A Jeep came in my help and hours late we found a doctor in the nearest village; next morning I was fine as if nothing bad have occurred… and in my cameras: this one and a few more of unforgettable images”.
Irial Visual is made of a thin and flexible ‘fabric’ of aluminum tiles that takes on reflections and different shades depending on the viewing angle and exposure to sunlight. The random manual arrangement of the tiles means that each fabric is unique.
