Side Extension & Sun Room, Creating Open Plan, Chimney Breast Remov. NR2 3JH

Contemporary Kitchen

The client bought this walk-in terrace in the Golden Triangle area of Norwich and wished to transform the rear of the ground floor. This project required Structural Engineer Calculations and has Building Control Approval. The open plan includes; the side extension, former dining, kitchen and bathroom. The chimney breast in the existing dining has been taken out to allow extra space for the new kitchen. A cloakroom has been created under the existing stairs. Glazing wise the following has been installed; a two leaf bifold, two fixed aluminium windows, one with triangular toplight to maximise light and garden views. Three Velux windows contribute to bringing light into this northwards facing elevation. Cost around £58,000. Building work is completed. Client has asked me to design the rear garden landscaping.
