This timberframe home had a typical "builder" fireplace, but the homeowners wanted something more in keeping with style of the house and that made the most of the cathedral ceiling in the great room. This new Mendota Greenbriar fireplace, the slab mantel and the stone wall look like they have always been there, which is the key to any good remodel. The texture and color of the stone fireplace look particularly sharp against the white walls throughout the rest of the space.
