Part of the old retaining wall was worked into the custom design, with climbing plants placed to eventually grow and cover the wall to provide a cool green space behind the patio.
The custom designed layout worked out perfectly for the homeowners. This backyard was blank, dirt and a steep slope covered the entire area in back of a new house.
