This Chicago client turned a spare room into a lovely den/library. In keeping with the traditional furnishings, we chose a richly detailed raised panel door style. The warm nutmeg stain accents the beautiful grain of the cherry wood, and promotes the furniture look of the cabinetry.
A combination of open and closed storage was used, offering great display opportunities as well as ample space for tucking things away. Mixing the doors and open shelves also keeps the space visually interesting. To complete the look, a custom wood top was installed, as well as a classic crown molding. The result is a beautiful and warm retreat!
