We have worked with Aaron Kandel in the past, I would say if you are even thinking of doing work with or for Aaron Kandel CHANGE YOUR MIND NOW!! We performed work as to specification and when time came for payment, he skipped town. He will not return phone calls or emails. He gives Landscape Contractors a very bad name. BEWARE of this guy!! One star rating is way too high!

We had this company give us a bid for a retaining wall. The owner asked for $4000 before starting the project which sent up a red flag. It was supposed to be done in September 2014. Mr. Kandel said that he would not be able to start until spring of 2015. I do not believe he ever intended to go through with the project. Never give any contractor a penny until the project has started and never complete payment until the project is completed.

Kandel & Associates was a delight to work with. The created the backyard of our dreams. They built a gorgeous Trex deck for use that integrated with a pool, that Aaron Kandel oversaw from start to finish, and our complete backyard living space including an outdoor kitchen, pool deck, outdoor chimney and wet bar. The project was managed and executed seamlessly. Aaron Kandel and his crew were timely, hardworking and sincerely interested in creating a work of functional outdoor art for our family. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
