Maria was just great. Saw my vision and executed it on time, on budget and with thought to detail. Her entire crew was great.

I can't thank Maria and her crew enough for the great work she did on my house. She created a walkway that tied the front and back of my house together. Finished early and came in below the other prices I received. They will be giving my office entry an update this spring.

As a new summer season begins, I once again am reminded how frustrated I still am with this job. Maria was hired to replace the concrete floor in the garage, put in a new asphalt driveway with brick edging and apron, put in a new stone and brick stoop and walk. The walkway is fine although the stoop is now pulling away from the house. This work was completed in 2015, so maybe that is the norm. Wouldn't know because Maria never returns phone calls or texts. Our biggest problem was the driveway. She told us she puts the brick in cement so the grass doesn't burn along the edge as it does with a metal edge. Well it doesn't burn because it can't grow. We cannot grow grass up to the bricks because there is a layer of concrete. We cannot chip the concrete away because the bricks loosen up. It looks terrible. Again after months of trying to contact Maria we received no response. Additionally, there is a dip in the asphalt where water collects and ices up in the winter. Again, no response. The cement floor in the garage was supposed to be painted after it cured. Never done and again no response. Initially we considered having Maria do a stone patio in the back but her lack of responsiveness to issues that arose ended that!

I used LPD + Architectural Stonescapes company already 3 times and very satisfied with their work. Maria is a pleasure to work with and she rest of the crew are very customer oriented. Would highly recommend them and will hire myself in the future if there is a need or a project.

We requested quotes from 3-4 local landscapers, of which Maria was not only the most responsive but came with creative ideas for our small 10x12 space for patio in the backyard. We held off for about a month or two, requested a second visit. She was more than willing to return & after more review, ended up with a complete overhaul of our landscaping, sod, new bluestone patio and bluestone sidewalk in the front. Maria listened to our concerns with existing landscaping and aesthetics for new landscaping. Note, we initially had plans for a paver patio, but after thorough consideration following her design input, upgraded to the bluestone with zero regrets. Maria was extremely resourceful acknowledging quality landscaping pieces that existed on the property, but needed to be reallocated to help with our budget given how quickly our project evolved from a patio to the above. Her final estimate included all the trees/shrubs/perennials she had planned to use, including details of sod, patio and sidewalk. Her crew worked extremely hard to keep the project on target. The results were amazing and have had nothing but compliments from the local area on the beautiful work Maria and her team produced. We will definitely use Maria for another project in the future.

We have hired Maria and her crew twice. The first time was about 2 years ago. They applied landscape pavers and a seating wall in our back yard. They also install landscaping throughout the yard. Everyone who sees it raves about how beautiful it is. This year they removed old shrubbery in our front yard and replaced it with beautiful shrubbery and flowers. Our neighbors are all envious!

Great company and very professional. Workmanship is excellent and attention to detail is a cut above the competition. I would definitely recommend LPD.

Maria was very easy to work with, gave quick estimates of the work to be performed, had great ideas, and the job came in on time, on budget and we are very pleased. Getting many compliments from our neighbors. I highly recommend Maria for stonescape and driveway work. In addition, she may handle tuck pointing our chimneys!

LPD + Architectural Stonescapes did an absolutely fantastic job on the landscaping and hardscaping for the front of our house. The job included several trees, perennials, shrubs, and extensive stonework to enhance our entrance and walkway. After procuring several other quotes, Maria offered us the best by far and then proceeded to deliver exactly as promised in a timely manner. Her team was courteous, punctual, skillful, and quick. We loved her design and can't wait to use them again on the back yard!

We replaced our driveway, walk, and porch using a combination of pavers and blacktop. The design process was consultative where owner ideas were combined with architectural requirements. The process was made less demanding on us, the homeowners, as LPD managed deposits, permits, inspections, and coordination all while receiving input and scope change requests as we changed and tweaked plans along the way. The outcome is something that has received several positive comments from neighbors. We are already working with LPD on another project.

Maria and her team did a phenomenal job on our project - she patiently worked with us every step of the project to ensure we were happy with the end result. She personally oversaw the work effort each day. Would highly recommend her business.

I have a walk out deck with an area beneath it, covered with mulch. I wanted to replace the mulch with a brick patio. Although it was tough to connect initially (probably due to seasonal overflow and Holiday Weekend), once Maria and I talked, things went quite smoothly. She provided a detailed quote which I forwarded to the HOA for approval. When the HOA requested additional information (drawings on the Plat a Survey, detailed dimensions, J.U.L.I.E. clearance and a permit) Maria was quick to respond, even coming out to the house a second time to get the details required. As it turns out the job did not require a permit (was too small), we received HOA approval and J.U.L.I.E. clearance just in time to meet the tentative installation date we had set. On the day of the installation, the crew arrived on time and worked tirelessly all day. The quality of their work is very good. They removed the existing mulch and dirt, used a wheel barrel to cart in the gravel, sand and bricks (I live in a townhouse and they were extremely thoughtful and careful about not destroying or damaging any of the common areas). They tamped down the gravel twice (and had to cut concrete from the deck pilings in some places), added the sand and meticulously laid the brick in a herringbone pattern. They initially identified an issue with the level/slope between the house, the base of the deck steps. Maria had a recommendation ready, which I approved and we moved forward. At one point, they ran out of bricks, but a quick trip to their supplier and the job was completed. I am impressed with the knowledge of this crew, their teamwork and the work ethic. Their attention to detail and organization make watching this project come together exciting to see. At the end of the day, they cleaned up everything, replanted the sod and replaced the mulch that they had moved to install the patio. They also took care to remove some annuals that were in the way and replant them at the end of the day. Impressive! My patio is small and it is wonderful. A total of about 180 SF of outdoor happiness! I would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them to others.
