Quality Lounge Suites

Ordered a suite some time ago, very happy with it's appearance, workmanship etc. Based on that took an antique chair in to be re-upholstered having felt and been reassured that that job would be done to a high standard. Upon collection I was proudly told that an apprentice had carried out the work. Hot glue showed where the trim was applied, the fabric was cream. The glue yellow. It is now some years later wanting to to reupholster the chair, I can see the full extent of the poor workmanship. My expensive fabric was put directly onto a thin crumbly foam on the hand rail and seat, the chair wasn't sprung as requested. The hand rail was was had a long line etched into it. I can only assume, as a guild to put the braid on. There are very easy temporary ways to apply guild lines. Masking tape for example. This line was scraped into the chair lower down than the original braid. Completely unnecessary. There were also random pen marks on the back of the cream fabric which may have been an issue when cleaning, as well as the thin foam, now crumbling. To top that a staple was even put into the back of a leg. That said the hessian underneath looks ok.

Very impressed with the advice and service that QS gave me throughout my project. Gave clear and precise answers to my questions regarding price and design, enabling me to stay within budget. Delivery times were as stated,and a member of staff was always available to talk to on the phone or would arrange a site visit if I was unsure of something. Four rooms in my house have QS products installed, including sofas, corner unit, cabinets and coffee table in my living rooms, and upholstered headboards, an upholstered wall and dressing stool in the bedrooms. Workmanship is excellent and I have had many admiring comments on the design of my furniture and colour schemes. I have recently re-visited QS for my curtains and blinds and have received great service once again.
