Terrible experience. DO NOT ORDER FLOORING FROM THEM. I ordered reclaimed maple back in November of 2022 and paid for delivery. I was told that there was a 6-8 week lead time, which was expected and fine. I did not hear from them at all and started attempting to contact them in February of 2023. I was told that the flooring was not ready, but would be ready in March. I called again in March and still was told the flooring was not ready. In May I contacted them again and was told by the owner that the flooring was ready and they could set up delivery. I rearranged my schedule so that I could be home for the delivery and help unload as requested. The flooring never arrived, no call, no show. This happened several more times where I would call and set up delivery and the delivery would not happen. Sometimes they couldn't deliver because they didn't have a driver, illness, a death in the family, it was raining. Eventually, I was able to open a dispute with my credit card company for non-delivery and eventually (beginning of July 2023) I was able to get a refund. I suspect they never had my flooring in the first place. VERY DISHONEST COMPANY. My kitchen is still not done and I am starting over from scratch.

I hope by writing this review it can at least help someone avoid the pain and loss that I had to go through. While we were originally impressed by the showroom and meeting Tom Bingham and decided to do business with them on flooring, Fir ceilings, shiplap walls and barn wood for a new home build, when it actually came time to get the products that is where the troubles started. Wrong material delivered, broken promises over and over again on deliveries, making it right, etc. Weeks turned into months. Finally decided to cancel the flooring and ceiling portion of order and requested money back. At first tried saying it was non-refundable, despite none of the paperwork saying that. Then full acknowledgement of owing the money, but weeks of promises of a refund that never came. Finally sued in small claims court. Won easily, but still nothing paid back and that was over a year ago. Waiting on the courts to give court date for payment plan. Over $8k+ of money he is keeping from my family. RUN, don't be lulled into the trap of thinking this is a reputable business.

A good review is easy to do. A bad review takes some effort and in most cases you just want to put it behind you and move on. Doing business with the owner Tom Bingham of Bingham Lumber was such a horrible experience I am willing to expend the energy to help others avoid the same experience. Tom is not just a liar but in my opinion he is a pathological liar and makes no apologies for it. Don Bingham is no doubt turning over in his grave. His creed written in the history on Binghams website of “ quality lumber at a fair price with good HONEST service” is not being upheld.Our builder who has been in business for over 25 years has stated that never dealt with anyone close to Tom’s dishonesty. We ordered our reclaimed wood from Bingham back in Nov 2020. At that time Tom assured us that Covid had not affected their business and with this lead time he would have no problem getting and finishing the wood to be delivered in late March,2021. I called Tom in January and was told he had the wood and that everything was all set for delivery. Since then it has been a wack a mole series of lies; ie we cannot find your wood,we found it but it was mistakenly put on a delivery to Cape Cod, to North Carolina, to New Jersey. The reclaimed wood had been exposed to the elements for too long Tom did not feel comfortable giving it to us and preferred starting from scratch. Hard to imagine how he could come up with 1600 board feet of the same reclaimed wood on such short notice. The delivery had to be delayed four times as he was not satisfied with the finishing or it needed more time to cure. I told Tom that I would like to see the wood before delivery and he said the finishing was being done by a company in southern Vermont. Initially Tom has told us all finishing was done at the Bingham shop. I asked for the address and number of the finishing company which he declined to provide. He offered instead to send pictures which he never did. I told Tom at this point all I want is honesty so I could plan ahead and avoid any further delays on our home building. With this request Tom gave me two personal guarantees of delivery that he would stake his reputation on which speaks for itself as no delivery was made. You cannot trust this man and I suggest you do business elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable companies nearby who are well aware of the problems at Bingham as they have had to help pick up the pieces from many of their former customers. Just read the more recent reviews and see the trend. The Bingham employees cover for him ,will not answer any questions and refer all to Tom. He will no doubt have a rebuttal to this entry citing Covid, his suppliers etc. as he is a master of excuses. Just ask yourself why a customer with no ax to grind take the time to write a negative review

I wanted a 54"x54" pedestal dining room table and could not find anything ready made. Luckily I found Lake & Mountain Home/Bingham Lumber, Inc. in Brookline, NH! They use reclaimed wood and do beautiful work! Even though I had to wait a little longer than they estimated, it was well worth it. I love my new table!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and family room and wanted some architectural elements from reclaimed barn wood. We worked with Heather and found posts and beam that we used to separate the kitchen from the family room and then created an accent wall with barn wood paneling. The materials were first rate and the service from Heather and the team at Bingham was excellent. Will use them again for another project in the future.

We hired Bingham to make a custom table for our newly renovated kitchen. Amanda was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the process! We ended up with a table that's not only beautiful but very functional.

This summer my client and I were selecting four antique hand hewn beams for their new kitchen addition and an antique hand hewn oak beam for their fireplace mantle. We found Bingham Lumber through a reference from another lumber yard. They recommended them for their wide selection of products and high quality. I have been very impressed with the products they have and the entire staff! Holly Stanley has been our contact and she could not have been more helpful, professional, and truly a joy to work with on this part of our project! We were able to personally select the four beams for our kitchen ceiling design. They let us roam their many storage areas. The products are beautiful! We also were able to roam the storage areas and select the perfect hand hewn oak beam for the fireplace. We also selected a wide, natural walnut flooring for this kitchen and dining room project. The flooring was exceptionally well finished and was delivered to the site right on schedule. Holly did let us take samples of many wood products to our site for a final review and acceptance. The showroom they have is a remarkable structure and really brings to light all the possibilities with their products. It is worth seeing their showroom and all of the wonderful samples. I have had such a wonderful working relationship with Holly and the entire staff at Bingham Lumber that I highly recommend the products and company! Looking forward to working with them on more design projects!

We ordered reclaimed wood for an at home project. Amanda at Bingham was amazing. She pushed the order through quickly to help us complete our project in our projected time frame! The material was absolutely gorgeous! In fact we loved it so much, we placed a second order to do another project in our home! Great company with extremely helpful staff !

We loved working with Bingham Lumber! We knew nothing about the wood that would be best for our flooring or wall design and they patiently walked us through our options and provided a ton of helpful information and advice. They were easy to work with and followed up frequently regarding the status of our order. We will definitely use them again!

We could not be happier with our experience at Bingham Lumber. Our Kendall Road reclaimed oak flooring is absolutely stunning in our new home. It's exactly how we pictured it. We wanted a rustic look that would also lend itself to our active lifestyle with our 2 Siberian Huskies. We used the Kendall throughout our entire first floor. (see pictures on Bingham's Houzz page under "Kendall Road Reclaimed Oak Flooring ") Everyone who comes to our home raves about these floors. They are truly unique and beautiful. We will enjoy them for many years to come. We also purchased a beam mantle, and an oak dining table with benches from Bingham. These pieces tie everything together beautifully. We even used some of the Kendall for some counter-tops at our entry. This was an after thought, so we didn't order it in advance like the flooring. But Bingham was able to get the wood out to us in a matter of days! I cannot say enough about the knowledgeable, friendly staff. Amanda and Tom were instrumental in making this happen for us. They have a gorgeous showroom with lots of large areas of flooring to view. This was so helpful to us because it is hard to visualize reclaimed flooring when you see a small sample. If you are at all interested in using reclaimed wood for your home, I highly recommend visiting Bingham Lumber.

I recently had a house built in Groton MA and consulted with staff at Bingham Lumber on flooring choices. My wife and I met with front office staff of Amanda and Holly to learn about hardwood flooring and found them to be very knowledgeable, very helpful and very professional. We introduced our builder to them as well. I purchased much flooring from their overstock and the builder purchased remainder to outfit our house in flooring. They also recommended the perfect finishing product. I was allowed to store the overstock product there until needed and was treated very well by their warehouse staff, including Russell. We also purchased ship lap for two walls, a ceiling, and truss wrap, all at great pricing and all came out beautiful. We also bought reclaimed Sassafras for two accent walls for our mud room which came out beautiful. They also built a table for us when our kitchen cabinet supplier could not provide an acceptable product. After meeting the GM and owner, we purchased hard scape products for a front walk and backyard patio, both of which are beautiful. In closing, everyone in this company have been totally professional, very helpful, and extremely customer focused. They all go out of their way to be helpful and make sure that their customer is happy. Great people, great company! I have and will continue to recommend this business to friends and family. (We actually found them through a builder that we did not use to build our home!). Top rated company!!

I searched the Internet for a month looking for affordable hardwood boards and flooring I could use together to create my rather unique kitchen floor. I found them at Bingham and Amanda rushed my order thru to meet my tight deadline. Will definitely use them for any project in the future!
