Brett Gallery

Established in 2014, Brett Gallery showcases a unique, limited edition collection of darkroom printed, black and white large format photographs. Every photograph is printed using the original glass plate negative, sourced from the famous Beken of Cowes sailing archive dating from 1885 to 1934. Each photograph captures an evocative image from a bygone era of international yachting, encompassing both the great big class and J-Class yachts of the period. Each negative is carefully restored by our archivist, developed by a master printer and beautifully framed in-house.
