About Us

Brian Szczech is an artist and the owner of Flux Design Studio, based in Phoenix Arizona. He has been creating unique custom art, sculpture, furniture and interior home transformations for more than 15 years in the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley area. Inspired by the world around filled with texture, colors and form, he exudes a true passion for craftsmanship. As the former owner/partner of Concrete Interior Designs and CS Concrete Interiors, he has and continues to work with the Valley's best designers and builders on a vast array of projects featured in dozens of local and national magazines. His unrivaled, professional enthusiasm and attention to detail and design innovation has had clients returning time and again. His work is a collaboration between artist and client, to innovate and produce unique creations inspired by organic and natural materials, fueled by the imagination.

I first had the opportunity to work with Brian a few years ago when he designed my fabulous fireplace and mantle after doing a few other custom pieces at my home. I loved collaborating with him, admire his creativity, and enjoy and appreciate my pieces every day. I'm excited to be starting a new project with him shortly. Know it will be a treasure!

Flux Design has been my go-to metal craftsman for everything from fireplace walls to countertops to metal framed mirrors for a few years now. I can count on Flux for expert craftsmanship, creative design direction, sensitivity to schedule and budget, and amazing metal patinas. Unmatched creativity and professionalism are just two of the outstanding characteristics of Flux. I love working with this firm because of their ability to exceed expectations in design, communication, deliverables and deadlines. As a designer, it's paramount to work with someone who can seamlessly transition between talking with clients and the general contractor. Brian can explain the process easily to a client and also discuss with a GC how they can work in tandem to create the proper supports (if necessary), meet code and keep the project moving forward. I really can't say enough about Flux. Hire them for yourself, and you'll see what I mean!
