The Chesters Tilery

In our small workshop in Cumbria we take great pleasure in making beautiful tiles using traditional methods and materials. We have specialised in the production of Dutch Delft Blue tiles which are high quality reproductions of tiles made in the Netherlands in the 17th century, but we also make other vintage and retro style tiles for kitchens, fire surrounds and other decorative purposes. Our tiles have even been used as coasters, tabletops and set in picture frames. Occasionally we make bespoke tiles to a customer's specific requirements, using a customer's own designs, or to match existing wall tiles. We can also decorate mass-produced tiles bought from other tile suppliers.
