I have hired Darla Blake, ASID, CID from Unique & Chic Interiors to recently stage a beautiful condo in Newport Beach. It was a vacant property and Darla came in and did her magic! Accessories, art, window treatments, rugs! Amazing and looks fantastic! Look forward to our next staging!

Darla, and her team worked tirelessly to meet the needs of my clients and worked well with their budget! This was my first time working with her and her team, I will be using her services for all my listings, I was especially impressed with her responsiveness and timeliness to get the job done and prepare the property for market. We needed our house staged to sell it. During an initial consultation, Darla impressed us with her ideas to use most of the items we had and offered suggestions for optional changes. Based on this, we engaged her services and she brought additional items to fill in what was missing. It made us appreciate what the talents of a creative designer like Darla can bring to a project. We would not hesitate to use her services again.

This firm designed and furnished from top to bottom an outstanding desert home for us. It was perfect in every way and totally original. It had an elegance as well as a feeling of warmth. I would recommend them to anyone in a moment.

-Consulting Unique and Chic Interiors for my new store was the smartest thing I could have done to make sure my new jewelry showroom really stood out among my competition. I really could not be happier with the results of her design and implementation. Darla is incredibly easy to work with and executed my vision flawlessly , even improving upon my ideas to create a truly unique space to work in and enjoy. I am so glad that I decided to use her for this project. Starting out, I thought that I would be able to easily design the interior of my new showroom, and be able to find the resources I needed to do it. Boy was I wrong. This was a six-figure-budget project and I was almost immediately overwhelmed. I have known Darla for years, but had never utilized her skills for any of my commercial projects. I am so glad that I decided to use her for this one. She is a true fountain of knowledge. From the first phone call I had with her, I was confident that she would not only be able to understand my vision, but make it even better. When Darla arrived at the new space, she swept in like a storm, noticing things that I would never have thought of, and making suggestions left and right that blew me away in regards to her sheer expertise (Not to mention, she made me laugh the whole time). With Darla at the helm the stress that had been building for weeks melted away, only to be replaced by confidence and excitement at the future completion of my new store. Darla is a real treat to work with, with a fun, sassy sense of humor and truly great taste. While the project was ongoing, Darla always came in to check on how things were progressing, and was always available for a chat or to answer a few questions. She was always exceeding my expectations by finishing her deadlines early. I have dealt with designers before who, after the first few consultations, always seem too busy to deal with me anymore. Not Darla. She truly has an understanding of great customer service. Her ideas to frame my wall of paintings with a giant, elegant frame, as well as my fabulous vintage purse mural to display my designer purses for sale demonstrate her boundless creativity. I couldn't be any happier with how my store turned out. I used just about all of her ideas in the design of my new location, and I am very excited to be opening this January. Darla has an incredible sense of space, of art, and of aesthetics, not to mention functionality. She is fun to work with and executed my goals brilliantly. I will use her for any and all future projects, and can not recommend her enough to my friends and associates. I’m very satisfied!

Darla is a great interior designer! I have worked with her on multiple projects this year and each one has turned out absolutely beautiful. She is a very hard worker and I have seen her go above and beyond for her clients. I hired Darla for the Color Your Home and One Day Design. Darla did a great job, I love everything she did! She is so professional, she showed up on time, she thoroughly reviewed our requirements with us and then returned with a great color board for our house colors. For the One Day Design, again she thoroughly reviewed with me my requirements, gave me great suggestions for updating the two rooms and returned another day to stage.
