Broken skateboards are an unfortunate byproduct of skateboarding which usually end up in landfills. At Deckstool, we salvage busted boards and turn them into high-quality furniture, home decor and gifts. Our products are inspired by a passion for skateboarding, modern design, and recycling. Our designs are based of how skateboards break during use. The forms are derived from the gentle curves of the molded maple plywood skateboards and the surfaces showcase the beauty of the scraped and scarred graphics. All Deckstool products are one-of-a-kind. We use modern manufacturing techniques to create precision parts and skilled skater/craftsman to finish and assemble them with an artist’s touch.
