We've had the privilege to work with Distinctive Drywall on a variety of projects over the last few years. These projects have been extremely complicated in terms of drywall requirements (groin vaults, curved staircases, etc) and we have to say, these guys are the best in the business. Not only are they highly skilled, they run their business with thoughtful organization, have a friendly staff, and keep the job site in immaculate condition. Highly recommended!

I had made a major mess of our kitchen walls removing cabinets and ceramic tile. They were beyond patching. I was on a tight deadline with cabinets sitting in a shop waiting to be delivered. I stopped in at their office and was met by a very pleasant receptionist who got the owner to come out and talk to me. I explained what my problems was and he said they would try and get out to give me an estimate asap. Within a few days the owner ( Joe Shimanski ) and his estimator were out. They said they would have to replace the drywall on 2 of the walls and replace. Within a few days I had my estimate. He said it I was satisfied with their bid they would try to fit me in although they were very busy. I was beyond happy with their bid and accepted. Within a few days the crew was there and the job was done. It looked beautiful. I have never seen anyone as professional as this company from the owner down to the last person on the job. The place was cleaner when they left than before they arrived. No mess! I can't say enough about this crew and will definitely call them before starting any more projects. Great Job !!!!

My wife and I purchased our house after a complete remodel by this company and we really love everything they did. The garage was not insulated, so I had it insulated and hired Joe Shimanski & Distinctive Drywall to do the Sheetrock, taping and painting because they did such a great job with the rest of the house. They were fast, did a great job and it was exactly what I expected. I now have the nicest (and warmest) garage in Blaine. I have already referred them to others and will continue to. The detail that they did throughout the rest of my house couldn't be better!

Distinctive Drywall has been the best contractor we've ever worked with. We had a repair job on a smooth ceiling, as well as installing a control joint. They came in each day, were respectful to our home and cleaned up beautiful each day, especially at the end of the project. Our project ran into an unexpected paint snag and they hung in there and always assured us they would make it right and they did. I cannot recommend Joe and his team enough. You can put your trust in your drywall needs. We live in a modern, flat roof, smoothed ceiling home and any little blemish shows and the job they did looks fantastic!
