Ed Castro Landscape just finished a major renovation of our property. I can't tell you how pleasant it has been to work with them! I am almost sad that the project is complete. From design to installation to back office - ALL of the Castro representatives were very professional and delivered as promised. I would strongly and whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone.

Beginning in 2010 Ed Castro Landscape did 3 things: 1. Designed our entire project. 2. Provided landscape planning including: bushes, trees, flowers, ground cover, sod, drainage, grading of driveway, stepping stones and flagstone steps leading to the back yard. 3. They acted as the general contractor for their designed hardscape including: a new paverstone driveway from the street winding around to the back of the house to the garage, a gorgeous limestone front stoop, a lighted waterfall and pond feature in the new retaining wall, irrigation, fencing, and home and landscape lighting. They followed us through every aspect of the work which significantly added not only to our enjoyment of our home, but also to its value. Neighbors are still commenting on the beauty and quality of the work which exceeded our expectations. In order to perfectly maintain the original design, Ed Castro Landscape is continuing to maintain our yard on a weekly basis. The creativity that they displayed in their design was something we could not have achieved working with anyone other than Ed Castro. In addition, for the past 4 years, Ed Castro Landscape has contributed thousands of river stones to a "Stones of Remembrance Project" which educates nearly 1500 school children from approximately 15 Atlanta area schools yearly on the Holocaust.

Ed Castro Landscape did a wonderful job with our backyard landscaping, which included the design, stone pavers, a built-in grill, an in-ground trampoline, raised beds and herb garden, fence, and the planting of many, many trees. Hannah, who created the design, was a pleasure to work with and did an amazing job. The laborers we very pleasant and did an excellent job as well.

Beware of bait & switch. Ed sells the job and promises professional oversight, then turns job ($140k+) over to recent college grad. When issues happen, he won't return calls and blames everyone but himself. Stay away. ** Update ** Just to clarify, my #1 concern (and warning) was the unprofessional way Ed handled the situation when problems were confirmed. A professional would at least answer his phone and/or return calls from his customer. Added some pictures of the "river" feature that was not part of the plan. Fortunately another contractor eventually fixed the problems.

I would highly recommend Ed Castro Landscaping! I work for Arborguard Tree Specialist and have worked with them for over 8 years and confidently refer them to my clients whenever possible. They do great work and are always very courteous and responsive, which is can be a rare thing in our industry!
