Kathleen is an excellent landscaper and consultant. She is very knowledgeable about perennials and provides expert planting advice. I have used her at my old residence and was so pleased I continued with her at my new residence. She and her crew are always pleasant and willing to travel the extra distance to my new home. She is also well respected by other professionals in the field. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Kathleen has been full gardener for my Ted Carter- designed property in Cape Elizabeth for at least 15 years. She is always respectful, pleasant, and easy to work with. As the sole caretaker, Kathleen and her team of 1-2 people have planned and maintained a well-kept property including roses and a variety of perennials, as well as adding color with annuals. We met Kathleen in 2010 when she was teaching a class at Skillins Greenhouses in Falmouth. After talking with her at some length (essentially an interview process), we were taken by her design philosophy, personality and honesty as well as ability to absorb our thoughts of what our front and back yard should look like. Over the following years we have had her back since our original thoughts had changed. She encouraged us to look at more options which resulted in a garden for all seasons.

Finishing Touches (Kathleen) completed multiple small area projects at our home as we systematically wanted to upgrade and renew our landscape. Kathleen has a really good sense of design and understanding of the plants, and how to achieve an aesthetic looking garden. It is what you hire her for. There are plenty of landscape people who will plant plants, and fill spaces, but if you’re looking for something special, a garden with a balance and design, Kathleen can help you achieve it. Her understanding of the plants and their requirements also helps to avoid the mistakes many people by just planting what they like to fill a space. She really took the time to understand the exposures, the soil, and our interests before coming up with a plan. We were satisfied and would recommend her without reservation.
