The Empson family have been in the timber business since 1840. The present day company uses the experience to produce high quality joinery products to individual specification using traditional craftsmanship. At Empsons we supply traditionally manufactured box sash windows for listed buildings, extensions and new builds. These can be supplied with spiral balances or lead weights. We can manufacture them for single or double glazed. We also offer tilt and slide as an option. All of the above are offered primed or fully finished with a wide range of colours and stains. Additionally our stunning selection of staircases are crafted in Oak, Sapele, or Pine are hand crafted, to the highest standards and come with excellent reputation. All of our manufactured joinery comes CE marked. All windows come with a UV-value certificate. They are part Q and PAS24 compliant and we are members of the British Woodworking Federation.
