With a background in architecture and interior design, artist and designer Gary Cruz is aware of every element that shapes the feel of a room and the elements that make a house a home. With full-scale residential projects in Manhattan, the Hamptons, and other destinations across the country, Gary Cruz offers a wide range of personalized design services that result in inspired, comfortable and inviting interiors, shaped by the goals and dreams of each of his clients. The creative manufacture of each hand-knotted rug marries the best of his talents - in shaping pattern, color, design and mood - into an original and unified expression. Gary Cruz has exhibited his drawings and paintings in New York City at The Drawing Center, Bronx Museum of the Arts, Islip Museum, Art in General, and White Columns. He is a recipient of the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant. Gary Cruz's interior design work has been featured in Hamptons Cottages and Gardens Magazine. The rugs have been published in the New York Times, House Beautiful Magazine, Interior Design Magazine, Rug Insider, and Cover Magazine.
