Metal + Petal

Jade crated the perfect living space for our family taking into account our needs, wants, and budget. She sourced products from all over the country, nothing cookie cutter, and selected gorgeous, family-friendly, fabrics and carpets to round out the project. She accomplished in minutes selections I would have agonized over for months. It was so nice to trust it all to a knowledgeable, experienced, professional.

Metal + Petal provided a design plan for most of the first floor of our home, which included entrance, living room, dining room, study, powder room, kitchen, keeping room, and master bedroom. We are working in phases and have completed the kitchen and keeping room and are currently in process with the powder room and living room. The experience has been wonderful - Jade has designed the home of our dreams and Graham has kept us on schedule and informed every step of the way. We have enjoyed all aspects of our home redesign, from selecting fabrics, fixtures & furniture to meeting the friendly and clean workers to living in the finished product. We plan to work with metal + petal on the rest of our home. We look forward to years of creative collaboration and well organized implementation!

Several years ago, I began using Jade O'Connor Designs to renovate the kitchen and family room of our home. These rooms still had 80's style colors -- peach, mauve, teal, wallpaper, wall to wall carpeting, etc. Jade took the time to understand my decorating style and she completely gutted and transformed these rooms into something I absolutely love. A couple of years later I moved on to the living room and dining room and, using her decorating knowledge and talented artistry, she transformed these rooms as well. I love coming home now! Fast forward to Spring of 2017. Jade and Graham Joyner married in the summer of 2016 and opened up Metal and Petal in November. I met with them several times to plan the renovation of our foyer and refurbish the guest bedroom into an office. The project is unfolding as I write this and it is running very smoothly and on time. Graham is professional, courteous and very well organized. He promptly arrives to let the subcontractors into the house and supervises all of the projects. He has years of building experience and actually completes some of the projects himself. Working with the two of them has been so easy and enjoyable. We are already talking about the next project! I highly recommend M+P. You will not be disappointed.
