GRB Design

This company completed my bathroom remodel in 3 weeks and did an exceptional job. The workers from Dave. Deborah and Eddie were easy to work with. The job was completed as promised and we have a lovely new bathroom. They had to get every thing down to the studs and they virtually built us a new bathroom. Gary helped us obtain financing and was very professional. He made a friend.

We used GRB Design to re-side our house and remodel a large attached two-car garage that had previously been converted to a mother-in-law suite. GRB gutted and replaced the existing MIL-suite bathroom, expanded the closet, removed dangerous baseboard heaters, worked with our HVAC company to install new in-ceiling Mitsubishi heat pump units, replaced flooring, expanded an existing laundry room including adding tile floor to the expanded area, added new lighting/ceiling fans and re-painted the entire project area. They accomplished all of this in four weeks start-to-finish!!! The new siding looks fabulous, the re-done bathroom is beautiful, and the whole space is now our favorite part of the house.

GRB Design Gary's Team did a fantastic job. Debora was wonderful to work with and James did a phenomenal job on the glass tiles and Emmanuel, his assistant. we had to bathroom shower remodels with benches and glass doors. They took both of the showers out without incident and all the travertine was left intact. Replacement of the new glass tiles, Mosaic and Niche are spectacular! I would definitely recommend them for future projects. another reason I chose to go with GRB Design, Gary, on his first visit we sat down and we went over the budget. I like that it was not a long drawn-out process it was to the point in matter of fact.

Our renovation was a total mess from the beginning. There was no supervision or inspection during the work and as homeowners we had to constantly remind the crews of what needed to be done. On several occasions they placed incorrect tile and had to tear it out and replace it. GRB used subcontractors even though our contract specifically prohibited it without our approval. The contractor they used had no idea what he was doing and he also used substandard contractors. Our entire house was painted, all flooring replaced, both bathrooms were remodeled, fireplace surround replaced, wood flooring replacement/repair in our kitchen. The tile flooring turned out pretty well, although one year after the remodel the grout is now loose and/or missing and needs repair and many tiles are uneven. The master bath tile has several areas that are uneven and the grout lines show absolutely no consistency. When we questioned his work he got so angry that he stormed out of our home. I requested that he be replaced and GRB refused. This is the reason I believe our project had so much difficulty. The project was supposed to take 4 weeks, and it took 10. After the project was finally complete, GRB had to hire a specialist and a painter to come back to repair the mess made. They had to completely repaint our kitchen and bedroom. Also had to tear out some of the tile in the master bath because they set the new vanity, the drawer would not open because it hit the closet molding (did not use a spacer). Therefore, I had another mess to clean up due to all the dust from grinding out the tile. All this with a $28k price tag! Gary will promise the moon and he is a very nice person. But, his crews truly did a horrible job.

Gary met my wife and I at our home. During this visit he asked specific questions about our project, and gave us a bid. We hired GRB to install a fence, railing and scrape/repaint our porch. All jobs were done professionally. We are pleased.

GRB Design completed one bathroom and one half bath. The work was completed in eight working days. The work crew arrived on time each day, were courteous and cleaned up before they left each day. The end result exceeded our expectations and we get lots of compliments from friends who have seen the remodeled. bathrooms. I am planning on using GRB Design next year when we remodel the remaining bathroom in the house.
