About Us

A ground source heat pump system uses the earth’s energy and a small amount of electricity to provide one of the most efficient methods of heating and cooling a building. In the winter, it brings the earth’s heat to the building by circulating a fluid through a ground loop heat exchanger made up of pipes buried in the ground. It then concentrates and discharges this heat using a compressor and heat exchanger similar to a refrigerator. In the summer, the process is reversed. Heat is taken from the building and dispersed into the soil through the ground loop heat exchanger.
