Hansen Restoration & Remodeling

My husband and I were looking to have a kitchen remodel done. We met with three different contractors. Hansen Restoration and Remodel came out on top. We met Jim the owner and Erin the designer and were immediately impressed . A few days later Jim came to our home to see what we wanted and we had a detailed estimate the very next day. They worked with us on the design and staying within our budget. The few increases were the changes we decided we wanted later. From Ben(the project manager), Jason who was here every day and did the demolition, cabinets, flooring, plumbing etc, to Tony, Matt, and Lilly., their work was of the highest quality. Hansen R&R is Incredible. This team designed and built a brand new Primary bathroom/bedroom that includes an entertainment center w/ closets and drawers. The design developed and materials used have been life changing for both my husband and I. True craftsmanship. We hired Hansen Restoration for renovating our bathroom and kitchen. They did a fabulous job. Very professional team that provided an appraisal and step by step of the work to accomplish the job. Highly recommend them.

I had Hansen do some work to fix various issues at a home we purchased. They were prompt in coming to the home to discuss the work and in providing a scope document with estimates. They performed the work to accommodate our schedule and work was done to our satisfaction. Workers were very easy to work with and strived to meet desires, including some additional add on work under some very tight deadlines.

Sean and the team at Hansen were a pleasure to deal with the communication was great from the first initial call all the way through the entirety of my project. The roof on my house looks great and so does the premium powered skylights that they installed for me as well. I would recommend them to anyone. We took a cooling off period of a few months before writing this review. Last June 27th, 2017, we signed a contract with Hansen Restoration to have a very small back enclosed porch shored up with permanent supports, to replace the old concrete ones that were there for many years. This would also involve taking off some siding and putting on some new flashing on weather exposed wood. (In the meantime, we had industrial jacks in place and had matching siding for the job.) At first, we were most impressed by the owner Mr. Hansen who came to discuss the contract we would sign. We also liked Gary, who would be providing oversite on the job. After that, it was one disappointment after another! The biggest issue became the subcontractor not showing up for days at a time. He started the job on July 15th AM. He came again on July 16th in the evening . Then, we didn't see him again till July 27th. Gary, who never never took the initiative(to call or stop by)to find out if or how the job was progressing, was apologetic when contacted & promised to "make it right"(?) The "no show contractor" left all sorts of machinery /tools in our yard until 9:15 the night before we were leaving for vacation, lost a piece of my husbands jack that rendered it unusable and dumped dirt along the back of our yard without asking. It turns out he was going through a divorce but unfortunately his personal problems were allowed to affect us in a very unprofessional manner. After returning from vacation, the job was resumed and finally was completed with different Hansen subcontacted crews, but even with those workers, we had to request that they put finishing molding on the seams of the aluminum siding that they put up and to clean out the rubble pile that had been left under the porch. This contracted job was expected to take approximately one week from start date. By the end of August, we were glad the ordeal was over! Hansen advertises a "management team" and "a great finish" but I'd say....buyer beware...& shop around!

One Phone call was all it took, after trying to get a small job done, and contacting numerous companies, I called my Insurance Company and asked who they recommend. I was given the number of Hansen , and called immediately. Within ten minutes I was called back and set up an appointment for a day or two later. I was given an estimate, signed a few days later and as soon as they could schedule time the work was completed. I am very happy I called them.

Top notch company! As a designer I bring a lot of complicated designs to the table when meeting with my clients and their contractors. Hansen Restoration never ceases to amaze me. Instead of being frustrated by my sometimes complicated designs, they're excited for a challenge and ready to wow the community. I recommend them to all of my clients!

Hansen Restoration has been one of the worst contractors in Ohio area. We engaged Hansen's for remodeling work in our house. First and foremost they are unfamiliar with how the city permits actually work. One of the owners Kalvin was personally overseeing our project and his knowledge about the remodeling projects makes me worry about any projects he has taken on so far. The city requested for architectural drawings of the house, and Kalvin brought a structural engineer for the job instead of an architect. He did not schedule any job appropriately - from review to inspection to schedules. We kept asking for updates and progress and it went days and weeks before we hear back from him. The company has poor management and lacks the depth of skills needed for remodeling. it has really hurt us to cancel their contract in the middle of the job but we are still saving ourselves from poor quality delivery on our project. I will be open to discussing any details on this project if future customers will like to know more before contracting Hansen's Restoration and Remodeling.

Hansen Restoration & Remodeling has come to our aid many times, to do vent work, bathroom remodel, flooring, and woodwork. Always reliable, professional, conscientious, these guys are incredibly skilled! Also, you couldn't ask for a more likable crew. Their efforts to transform our home has made our home a show place. Have no doubts in hiring them. You will not regret your choice.

The Hansen company is a wonderful, professional, hard working, great group! All of their finished projects have made my "wish list" for my future home. Cannot wait to give them the opportunity to help me build my dream home!

Our contractor from Hansen was great. We had our bathroom remodeled last summer and it was finished on time and within budget.. and it looks amazing!! I highly recommend Hansen to anyone and will continue to use them for all of my remodeling needs!

After going through multiple contractors and not really getting anywhere a friend of mine referred me to Hansen Restoration. Within a matter of days I had an estimate in hand. I was truly impressed with how polite and professional everyone I spoke with was. We ended up having them do our bathroom project, and their craftsmanship matched their professionalism. We plan to renovate our kitchen this summer and will definitely be calling Hansen back out.

Hansen is a great company to work with. Jim is very fair and has a team of guys who want to do good work for him. You can tell that from how the employees speak and carry themselves. They hustle and are in constant communication throughout the whole project. They're also easy to get a hold of when you need them. They helped us with a small room in our basement last year and the work was excellent. They handled every step.

After my basement had flooded I called around to get quotes. After doing my homework I spoke with a gentleman named Sean who was very professional. Not only was the cleanup and repair quick and efficient- It was the best customer service I have had when getting house repairs. I would highly recommend and will return as a customer.
