About Us

Jeff Fike, President and Owner of JFBuilders & Associates, is a second generation builder with over thirty years experience. With his companies he has built more than 300 homes and completed more than 100 additions and renovations in the Wake County area. Jeff has been a licensed and insured General Contractor since 1985.

We hired JF builders to do a bonus room addition in our home and are very happy with the results. His team communicated every step of the way, and were respectful of our space and time. They pay close attention to detail and do their jobs well. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Jeff's expertise in construction and design, in conjunction with Kevin's constant and thorough communication, made for a great experience on a small but unique custom closet project. I would recommend JF Builders to anyone in the area that is looking to have a top of the line finished product and a well-built home worth showing off.

Project of $70,000.US Left paint splatters all over newly installed windows, didn't install screens as requested, windows painted shut, and left large gashes in newly installed window frames attempting to hide damage with paint instead of replacing frame. Never installed bathroom hardware as specified in writing and in general arrogant attitude of "I know what is best for you." Project managers found and took hidden set of house keys without permission to by pass working with property manager as specified in writing. Paid him off and cut him loose. Would not hire again

Jeff and his team added a three story addition to our home and gave us the space we needed. The work was exceptional and Jeff was a pleasure to work with. For any major renovation, Jeff would always be my first choice.

We hired JF Builders to make some repairs under an insurance claim and appreciated his thoroughness and assistance in working with the insurance company. He pointed out some additional repairs that were necessary outside of the claim and how overall costs could be reduced if work was done at the same time. We ended up with a whole new exterior on the house AND some interior renovations too, all on time, on budget, and with minimal disruption. JF Builders provided accurate repair and renovation estimates, communicated well, managed all the subcontractors without a hitch, and left us with a beautiful home. JF Builders will be my first call the next time we need a repair or are ready for a renovation.

Jeff Fike was the contractor on our remodel and addition to the home that my wife grew up in. I really loved working with him as he was quite responsive to our ideas and knew how to turn them into reality. He listens, does first quality work, and stands by it. He still responds helpfully about 8 years after the project was completed when we need repairs or advice. He was on time and in budget. Jeff is one of the best!

Choosing the right contractor for your home project is a very personal decision because they will be in and out of your home creating noise and dust and also around your loved ones. In my experience over the years of hiring multiple contractors I have found that trust and character are first on my list. These two attributes will determine the level of pride in their craftsmanship, the professional attitudes of their crews, the quality of their work and completing your project on time. Jeff is someone I would highly recommend because he hits all the items on my checklist, providing a final project which you are proud of and actually makes the entire process fun!

Incredible attention to detail - perfectionists. They do it right - quality is evident throughout. Any “punch list items” were addressed immediately. Very responsive and the workmanship can only be described as craftsmanship.
