My wife and I hired J. Gamas Painting to paint a large portion of the inside of our house. The customer service was timely, the estimate and communications were clear, and the job done was exemplary. The painter, Nacho, was on time, professional, and meticulous. Through and through, we were very pleased.

I had a couple of painting contractors came over to give us a quote and I thought Linda's proposal was the most reasonable one. The other contractors had to do this "dance" to win your business but in the end, you distrust them more. Linda was straight-forward, honest, and no bullshit in going over the work needed. We chose them and very happy we did. They painted the exterior of our house and the results were fantastic. They took time in scraping and sanding problematic areas and upon inspecting their work, I couldn't really fault anything. Nacho and his team who were onsite were very professional and respectful. We had a great experience with Gamas painting. We had to remodel and paint the house after a fire and we had a really bad experience with all of our trades until Gamas came to paint—they do the kind of work I wish everyone could do: quality, competent, and friendly. We have used J. Gamas Painting on four separate occasions and their painters have always done a great job. They are punctual, work efficiently and have always been very friendly which is not a requirement to do a job well but definitely has put us and our tenants at ease. I would highly recommend J Gamas Painting. Their team was professional and meticulous in their approach to painting my home. They were very communicative about their schedule and we worked together to confirm the order of things. I stayed in the house while they painted and they were very accommodating with working around that. They even fed my dogs for me when I wasn't there! My only issue was the timeline. I was given an unrealistic timeline when the job started and so had to flex around that but the actual painters were good about working with me. For the quality of work, a very good value. J Games Painting recently painted the interior of our house. I am very pleased with their service, beginning with Vanessa on the phone, Linda the estimator and Nacho and Mike, the painters. It seems to be a family run business and everyone was very professional and responsive. They work quickly and finished a day early, leaving our house relatively clean. We have now hired them to come back to paint the wood trim on the exterior. I have already recommended them to others.

J Gamas Painting did an excellent job today and I couldn't be happier with the results. My husband and I just purchased our first home and it was freshly painted prior to being put on the market. The stager unfortunately left quite a few holes and once we started spending time inside the house we noticed a shotty paint job in several areas. I reached out the J Gamas over the holiday break and unlike many vendors, they were prompt at returning my call, came for a very thorough walk through/estimate, and kept to the dates and times scheduled. Our walk through with Linda was so appreciated- she was honest where we needed full walls painted and where they could do touch ups on the holes left from the stager. We then had termite repair and I needed some exterior paint. I was in luck because i had some existing cans from the previous owner and Linda worked with me on what I should purchase for the full 2 rooms being repainted. Carlos was our painter and he was SO good! He is extremely neat, did an excellent job repainting the rooms, fixing the areas, and doing the exterior request. I’m always so happy with the results when we hire J. Gamas Painting. This is the 7th time we used them. Recently, we hired them to paint a townhome we were preparing for lease. This property had some deferred maintenance. Linda gave a fair quote, took time to answer all of my many questions regarding the job and followed up and kept me updated during the process. Linda also helped me coordinate the cleaning of the property. I also had some hauling that I needed to do and she drove by Home Depot to get me some hauling options for me. Linda really cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. There were some delays in my project that were unrelated with the painting but Linda was so flexible and worked with me and all of the contractors. I work in real estate so I have a lot of opportunities to work with different types of contractors. What I love about Linda is that I never have to worry about surprises. I know her team will arrive on time, finish the job and they always leave the property super clean. One last thing to add about my recent paint project with Linda... Prior to this paint job starting, I had a bathtub replaced. I forgot to have the texture applied to the drywall around the bathtub. I never mentioned this to Linda. (I completely forgot about it.) A few days ago, I noticed that she had taken care of it. I never asked her to. It was not included in the estimate. I think she just took care of it because it looked better that way. I don’t think I can ever use another paint company again. After my experience with J. Gamas Painting, I feel like my experience with every other painting company will only be a disappointment. If you are thinking about hiring a painting company, you should definitely consider J. Gamas Painting. You will not be disappointed.

This was our first experience with J Gamas Painting. We just purchased a home and wanted to get all three bedrooms and bathrooms painted before moving in. I called on Tuesday; Linda came out on Wednesday; received proposal on Thursday; painting began on Friday and completed on Sunday. WOW! Pricing was fair; customer service and communication was responsive; and the quality of the work was fantastic. J Gamas will do all the future painting at our house.

We reached out to J. Gamas painting as time was running out for us to finish our nursery. Service was absolutely incredible! Initial response came in seconds, a quote a few minutes after I sent over photos of the room, and we were able to schedule and complete the job within a couple days. I had Linda and her team at J. Gamas paint the exterior of my home as well as my kitchen, breakfast nook, laundry room and master bedroom. Linda is an absolutely amazing person to work with. She’s incredibly accessible and was fast to come out and give us an estimate and an accurate time frame in which she could get the job done. She met our budget perfectly and was able to get the job started quickly ( and I mean the next day) which we needed, as we thought we were going to be putting the house on the market soon. We live in a historic district ‘craftsman’ in Long Beach and she helped us navigate the historic district requirements and paperwork and helped us choose the right colors that would allow us to update the look of our home in a classy, modern way, but still adhere to the traditional requirements of our district. In addition, her crew, lead by Karlos and his son, we AMAZING. Our house needed A LOT of love, especially the siding, and they took the time and care to bring our little home back to life. On a side, note, Linda just happens to be a wonderful person to work with and her daughter, Vanessa, is awesome as well. We will absolutely recommend J. Gamas to our friends and we will use her in the future!

J Gamas Painting is a great company to work with. I have hired them more than once and they did an amazing painting job each time. The first time I hired them to paint the interior of a 2000 sq. ft condo. They came to the rescue when another company I had hired didn’t complete the painting job properly and they had left a mess. J Gamas Painting showed up on time, were professional, knowledgeable, clean and very reasonably priced. Within one day they completed the painting project. The second time I hired them was after I had a water leak in the condo which required reconstruction of the walls. Again, J Gamas Painting came to the rescue right away to paint the condo. They even helped by providing extra clean up that the construction contractor had left behind. I am so grateful for J Gamas Painting, Linda and her crew. There are no words in any human language that can quite describe how INCREDIBLE Linda, Vanessa, Nacho and team are. My husband and I had a 1500 square foot condo that was painted in all these crazy vibrant colors (Lime green, bright blue and glossy navy blue), had 12 badly textured splotches on the walls, and a feature wall with reclaimed wood paneling. Not only did they flawlessly and precisely paint the house in colors, two recommended by us and the dominant color recommended by Linda (STUNNED by the outcome :), they took down the wood paneling, resurfaced the wall without texture (YES!), threw out the trash, perfectly sanded down the textured blotches, fixed leaks in our showers and replaced the faucet in the upstairs bathroom. What is even more outstanding is that they did all 1500 square feet of 20 ft high ceilings IN FOUR DAYS!!!!!!!!!! They are so patient, creative, COMPETITIVELY PRICED (the best deal we found for the best work), FAST and Expert in their craft. I could not speak highly enough of J. Gamas Painting. I will be recommending them to everyone and now I am trying to find more painting jobs for them in our home...maybe we have some more closets we could get painted :)

The painting was done the next day. The quality of the work was outstanding. More important, they made everything so easy and I felt like I was helping support a wonderful family business. Our project was small in nature but Gamas Painting never treated it as such. From their initial consultation to final delivery, every aspect exuded a sense of professionalism and detail that is, unfortunately, harder and harder to find these days. What was once a patchwork of bare wood and missing stucco on their exterior of our home came together to form a final uniform product. You'd be hard pressed to find where the old original paint ends and the touch-ups meet. I highly recommend Gamas Painting to anyone looking for a hard working team and quality product at an affordable price.

My company was moving office spaces and needed to get some painting done prior to the move. Unfortunately, we didn't have access to the office until a few days prior to the move. Miguel was very patient and worked with us to get pricing without actually doing a walk-through of the office. His team was able to get a Certificate of Insurance that had our building requirements in time to get the work done. The job took the team only a day and a half even though they had to go out and purchase more paint since we didn't have enough. We're very pleased with the work that was done. If we ever need painting done again, J. Gamas Painitng is who I'll call first.

Miguel Gamas came out and gave us a fair bid to smooth coat the ceiling after our abatement and paint our 900 sf condo including the kitchen cabinets. They were able to work around our schedule of other contractors working on various projects. Bucho and Peter did a great job. We had new hardwood floors put in and they did a great job masking off everything to keep areas protected. The place looks great!
