We had to fire the original contractor for performance reasons. I have worked with Sergio over 20 years. He has tiled my kitchen and recently did a master bath and shower enclosure . He did a beautiful job . My shower is exquisite and of showroom quality. He is especially talented with granite and marble. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Sergio Garcia was a pleasure to work with on my kitchen remodel. He focused on my needs to blend a simple palette of warm soothing yet elegant colors in my open kitchen dining room redesign . We replaced kitchen cabinets and removed dated appliances with stainless steel Viking appliances. He is meticulous and will not accept compromise on design and workmanship of himself! Mr. Garcia's design sense and understanding of our need for simplicity was a real asset. When asked, he made suggestions on style and material. He was very accomodating with the schedule that we had and actually helped us with other tasks that were not completed properly by other contractors with tremendous referrals of stellar contractors he had worked with. He understand the need to keep our fixtures and furnishings safe during the installation and goes through great length to protect our cabinets and appliances while they were moved and worked around avoiding damage that other contractors continually caused in our remodel and did not seem to care about. His craftmanship has no match in our area. He is precise to 1/16 of an inch or more and will not compromise on his or his team's work. . Garcia suggested a three dimension bevel look to our backsplash while keeping the simplicity in our overall design: this added feature required using many pieces of marble very carefully after the countertops were put in. Mr Garcia not only customized the edges of the marble with gorgeous mouldings while keeping the project reasonable. Mr Garcia is an artist with any kitchen design project: his sense of style is reflective of his understanding of light, stone colors and melding wood with stone from ceiling to floor. He also has a deep appreciation of architectural and interior design highest standards; he expect the stoneyard to deliver the best stone to the project and protect his customers against poor quality. Finally, he listens to all of our needs and never tries to tout his expertise unlike so many of his competitors. His passion for his work shows in this project and in his tremendously engaging and positive can do attitude during the project. His calm demeanor makes this project a pleasure unlike most kitchen remodel.

Sergio Garcia installed tile in our sunken master bath shower, including a waist-high short wall of clear glass blocks. The job was exccellent. I rehired Sergio to replace some grout poorly installed in another bathroom by another contractor, and that came out well, too. The cost for both jobs was reasonable. Sergio was easy to deal with. I would rehire him anytime for other tile jobs.

We are very pleased to provide a recommendation for Sergio Garcia. In 2010-11 Mr. Garcia did major tile and stonework in our Carpinteria, CA vacation home. We had torn down to the subfloor a single story 1,400 square foot house and redesigned it to be a 2,700 square foot two story remodel. Sergio did selection and design for both tile and stone work throughout, including: entry hall, kitchen floor, counter backsplash, breakfast area floor, great room river rock stone fireplace and flagstone hearth, master and guest bath countertops, floor tile and roll-in shower (for handicap use), a guest room craft sink countertop, and upstairs outside deck. Sergio's demeanor is very, very pleasant and he understands he is using the customer's time and money. He is cost effective, listens very well and presents options to the client. He accompanied the really important client (my wife) on more than one occasion to advise and assist in materials selection and design. In addition, it is his practice to leave a clean work area each day. (Immediately thereafter in 2011, we also engaged him to do full tile flooring, stairway and kitchen counters in a condominium rental.)
