I hired Gardens 4 the Soul after they were recommended by some good friends of mine. I was not disappointed. They worked diligently with me to transform an old sideyard with dying grass and plants into a beautiful garden filled with colorful xeriscape surrounding a small artificial putting green. The work was done professionally, on-time, and in a very meticulous manner. They later came back to make sure things were growing well and spruced things up more. I give them my highest recommendation.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the experience I had working with Shari and Ted. To start, they are prompt and professional in their communication and in maintaining a timeline, which is sadly not a given with many contractors. I had a vague idea of the overall look I was going for, I was removing endless hedges and water guzzling plants and wanted the new, draught-tolerant garden to look natural and to blend with the hills that surround my house, but also look beautiful. Shari got my vision immediately and suggested the most lovely combination of colors and textures for the new plants. She also mixed in some hardscape areas for benches. Ted did an incredible job of keeping the project on-track. We also replaced all of our garden lighting and Ted did an amazing job at hunting down the perfect fixtures for the inconspicuous look I wanted. I added several new parts to the project as we went, and they were always accommodating. We had a few projects that were difficult to design without some trial and error, but they were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I loved the end product. I highly recommend this company!

Shari and Ted transformed my water wasting front lawn into a beautiful drought tolerant garden.I was impressed by the passion they have for what they do.They are friendly,professional,and creative.The project was delivered exactly as promised with no surprises.I was turned down by one company because my lawn wasn't large enough.They showed me that here in California,we can have plants that bloom and look amazing with minimal water use.Cactus is not the only solution.

Ted and Shari just completed an overhaul of our large front yard and we absolutely love the finished product! They were so insightful during the planning phase and offered us excellent advice and guidance during that time. The stonework is like a piece of art and we have strangers stopping in their cars to look at it and talk to us about our new yard. They did an excellent job with the plant and tree selection as well. We can't say enough good things about their work ethic and their design skills and would highly recommend them.

Shari kept me on track, giving me appropriate options of plants and hardscaping, and teaching me quite a bit in the process. They kept us informed and updated, stayed within the quoted budget, and were able to translate our ideas into reality. They worked with us to achieve the truly low maintenance , drought tolerant, modern garden of our dreams. Our backyard is finally the relaxing escape we always wanted.
