I found KMD through Houzz and am very pleased with the outcome of our remodel. I received estimates on a much needed kitchen remodel from Mike (KMD) and another Houzz contractor and compared them with an estimate I had received a couple years ago from another contractor. KMD's estimate came through as the lowest, but equally comprehensive as the others. We did a complete remodel of the kitchen (replaced cabinets, counters, back splash, sink/fixture) and a small bathroom (counter/back splash, sink/fixture). The project finished today and hit the target on estimated time and, for the most part, estimated costs (overage was due to materials we selected). With Mike's recommendations we were able to maximize one slab of quartz for both rooms and saved money by not needing two. I also think we got a good deal on our cabinets and stone through KMD's connections. I shopped around and purchased all other materials on my own through other retailers. My kitchen and bathroom from the 80s are now updated and beautiful! I still have plenty of unpacking and organizing to do, but I'm so happy to share pictures of the finished product as of today! KMD remodeled our tutoring center, paint, flooring, cabinetry. Mike was honest about pricing and didn't double our price initially like our other contractors then wait for us to try to haggle price down. His work was very professional and finished things quickly. We'll definitely use him again!

Mike has both the skills and experience to do an amazing job on our kitchen remodel project but also is easy to work with and flexible. Mike keeps costs down while making sure the job is going to look fantastic. He's an excellent communicator and is a pleasure to work with. Mike will be our go-to for our future renovation projects!

Mike Dixon of KMD Construction did an excellent job in remodeling my bathroom. He was very professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure having Mike, Juan, and Richie working around my house. They were always courteous and respectful. The demolition of the bathroom involved removing a large section of the foundation. Mike were able to keep the debris contain to the immediate construction area. A new air filter machine was used to minimize the particulates in the air. My new linear drain looks gorgeous, and I appreciate the hard work that Richie did to remove the concrete foundation. Mike personally worked along side his workers and was always available to answer any questions. Mike is a perfectionist. He worked diligently to install the hexagon marble floor tile that varied in textured/size. The floor looks fabulous and the varied texture provides traction for a wet floor. Mike followed his schedule and completed the bathroom project on time. His bid was very reasonable and he provided quality craftsmanship. I am very happy with my new bathroom and would definitely recommend Mike Dixon of KMD Construction, Inc.

Very professional from start to finish. Understood my ideas and brought them to life. Mike said they would be finished in 2 1/2 weeks and he was done in 2 weeks. Cleaned up each day. Reasonable pricing. I highly recommend this company.

Mike did a kitchen remodel for us, he and Juan were professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Mike completed our project timely, he worked very hard to ensure that everything was done as agreed upon as not to inconvenience us any longer than need be, we really appreciated this. We were able to stay within our budget range and Mike helped us work through this process from the elementary stages through the completion of the project. Mike started my home renovation with a complete bathroom remodel. New bathtub/shower with tile surround with a mosaic inset border, glass shower doors, new faucets, new vanity with quartz countertop and a under mount sink, new fans and porcelain tiled floors. I've worked with Mike before and found him to be a man of his word, and very reliable. Mike offered professional advise to what materials and styles to use and I couldn't be more pleased. Juan worked throughout my project. I give Mike and Juan high recommendations to have the patience to work on my house with my 20 year cat present during the entire remodel phase. Once finished with the bathroom, I proceeded to have new laminate floors, baseboards, and doors installed. Painting and new vinyl windows were installed as well. Electrical outlets were updated, and a closet organizer system was installed to make for a completely renovated home. I couldn't be happier. Both Mike and Juan were true professionals and wonderful individuals.

KMD's Construction services were fantastic! He was prompt, efficient and finished both our bathroom and kitchen remodels quickly and professionally! We were ecstatic with the results and attention to detail Mike and his team out towards our remodel. Very honest and fair contractor who goes out of his way to get the job done right, on budget and on schedule!

We are just delighted with how our master suite project turned out. We feel like we are now living in an upscale spa hotel. The project included the total gut and remodel of our 30 year old bathroom, and updating of the walk in closet and bedroom. Mike and his team were very easy to work with. He was very responsive to our ideas and helped us to make good design decisions. We appreciated his level of communication with us throughout the project and that it was completed within the timeframe that was set.

KMD and Mike Dixon provide the best quality work that I have experienced in a long time. Mike takes no short cuts, does everything to code, can be counted upon to show up when he says. Mike sticks to schedule and completes either on time or ahead on the jobs he has done for us. Mike is reachable with any questions, he is personable. He just does excellent work! KMD is one company that I will always go to first. KMD's estimates are competitive and they do not scrimp on materials or use cheap materials. When they do a job, they do it right. He does QUALITY work! I recommend them to anyone that is doing or needs work done.

Mike is very particular about his work and projects he takes on. We hired Mike while my wife was 8 months pregnant and were concern with completion of the project prior to her expected delivery date. Mike provide his estimate which he was able to meet. The work was very clean and updates were provided daily until completion. We had a bathroom that was 1 to 1.5 inches off from wall to wall due to foundation issues but his grout lines were amazing and the shower/bath is fantastic. We never had to check up on him as he provide updates prior to us asking. Will be calling Mike when we have a bigger project in mind.

Mike Dixon has been my preferred contractor for several years and he is the ONLY contractor I refer to others. Mike is honest and highly skilled. His ability to translate ideas into finished projects is simply amazing. His work ethic and standards are very high. Mike is selective when accepting new clients and projects. He performs most of the work himself and limits concurrent projects to maintain quality. When Mike is on site it’s as if my project is his sole passion and priority. Mike is a true professional and requires the same from all his employee(s) and sub-contractors. Mike works relentlessly on my projects and really shines when unforeseen circumstances arise. He is flexible to project changes. He is very proficient in locating alternative products and replacement vendors as needed. He makes extra effort to minimize the inherent inconveniences of construction projects. He is constantly thinking of ways to improve and optimize projects to my satisfaction. Mike will not use sub-standard materials and ensures I'm aware of all the relevant options. He is a collaborative communicator who has always been accessible when I've needed project advice. His expertise, price monitoring, and product sourcing have dramatically improved the outcome quality of my projects. Mike Dixon provides superior service at a competitive price. Lower priced contractors can be found at an increased risk of encountering unethical business practices and potential legal ramifications. I don’t have these concerns with Mike. I trust him to satisfactorily complete my projects for a clear and VERY reasonable price.
