With your schedule being as busy as it was, you went out of your way to make it happen! We put a call out to you, it was returned within hours. You showed up the next day to look at the job that was to be done. The following day you called and said you would be able to come on the weekend (only 4 days later). Your a good man, Mike Ludlow! Mike is sort of a local legend. You hear people speak his name and there are always unanimous agreements and/or understanding that his reputation precedes him. I patiently waited almost a year and a half for Mike to give my home the flooring makeover of a lifetime and he delivered nothing short of that miracle. The first floor of my home consisted of areas containing carpet, peel and stick vinyl, wood and tile. I told Mike that I wanted all of it taken out and replaced with one single, continuous flooring material: wood-look porcelain tile. The magnitude of this job boggled my mind, even as someone who is fully capable of the vast majority of handyman work. Everything in this 1300sqft space, across 9 rooms, had to be level and secure. Mike and his crew meticulously worked through this project like it was no sweat. You could tell they were focused, eager to do a good job and finish within a reasonable amount of time. The team’s technical skills were also complimentary to their level of care. They treated my home and family the same way they would treat their own. I never felt uncomfortable having them work while I was away from home. There was a mutual trust that is valuable beyond monetary description. I’m glad I waited for Mike to do this job and I don’t see a reason to ever hire someone else for this type of work. I will absolutely be having him and his team do more work in my home.

As many of the other reviewers have said Mike and his crew are fantastic and I would highly recommend them for any tile project. In addition to high quality work they are highly communicative, punctual and took care to keep things clean & dust free during our project. They also were very cat friendly and made sure to leave the house each night in a state where our cat was safe and couldn't mess up the work! Also worth noting that when taking up our old floor in a closet they found that the subfloor was water damaged and needed to replaced. Mike arranged for another contractor to come and immediately address the issue which was great as it meant the project was finished on the original schedule. The contractor Mike found was great and also did high quality work for a fair price.

I cannot express how beautiful my new bathroom is. Mike planned out the floor and shower tile meticulously and installed it to perfection. His crew are incredibly talented craftsmen. They are punctual, tidy, meticulous and cheerful even on a stormy day while running back and forth to the garage to cut tile. When my countertop guy came to template for the vanity he asked me on the way out, "where'd you find this tile guy? He's amazing." I was so happy with Mike Ludlow of Ludlow Tile and Marble. I had Mike reface a brick fireplace that I have in my family room and had it updated with a more contemporary look. I showed Mike a photo and he said that he can do it and it would look great. Well, it exceeded my expectations. He did such a great job. Everything was neat and clean, he conferred with me on all decisions during the installation process to make sure everything was the way I wanted it, and was a total professional throughout the process. The Mike’s are outstanding! Throughout our entire project they had great communication and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done exactly as we wanted! They are also super honest which is very comforting when hiring people; I had received a quote on edging that was 3X what I should have paid. Mike told me right away and then even went and got it for me saving me a good deal of money! Nice to know there are still really good people out there! You would be a fool if you didn’t hire them!

Mike did a fantastic job on my kitchen backsplash. Our kitchen cabinet installer left him a bit of a mess and he had to replace alot of the drywall but despite this, he finished close to the time without impacting the quality. The backsplash was also glass tile and required detailed work. I became more excited about how the tile turned out than my kitchen cabinets. In addition, he is the most polite and NEAT professional. He was very responsive, highly communicative and charged a fair price.

In February 2020 Ludlow Tile and Marble renovated my master bathroom and I could not be more pleased!!! It's officially my happy place! I can not say enough about Mike and his team (two other Mike's) I used them about a year ago for my kitchen floor as well. The team of "three Mike's" work so well together and are all very professional, kind and courteous. They are always respectful of your home, making sure to leave it as it was found. I called him often before the start of the job and kept on changing things around as far as the start dates but he never got annoyed. Mike went above and beyond for me. He made some runs to Home Depot and stuck around my house while the plumber was there to make sure he was doing his job correctly. It is very apparent that Ludlow Tile and Marble takes utmost pride in their work. They don't cut corners (no pun intended). If quality work is what you are looking for, done by a business that knows what they are doing and does it with a smile, then Ludlow Tile and Marble is who you want!

The moment Mike came in to talk about estimates I understood he is the right guy for the job. He explained to me in detail about the work and I realized he really cares about his work. He did my kitchen backsplash. I attached two photos as a testimony to the quality of his work. Attention to every details. Small things like the perfect cut in the outlet areas, smooth edges, continuation behind the refrigerator perfect spacing between two sheets of tiles, covering all edges under the cabinet. The cleanup work afterwards is also commendable. This is the first time after a contractor work I did not have to clean a thing. Mike even found my sons lost toys under the oven . Also very professional, polite, punctual and great communication skill and a very good sense of humor! His work is not only impressive but his sincerity is inspiring. If you have read my comment up to this far then I probably don’t have to tell you who I will hire for my next tile project.

Michael and his team are the tile masters! Not only are they extremely neat and tidy, they are knowledgeable. Michael was very patient with my design and addressed all my questions and concerns. Michael kept me updated with all of the progress of my project via text. My new fireplace totally changed the dynamic of the room. A job well done. I would get them again in a heartbeat.

First, this photo doesn't do the work the justice it deserves. It was taken using my iPhone. Mike and his team are a great team of professionals. Upon arriving everyday they place tarps down leading to the work area. At night they vacuum and clean the work area and even cover their tools. They communicate constantly and promptly, even when I emailed or text him after hours. He meticulously laid out the tile to make it not only level, but to make the grain in the tile look like it connects to the previous row (which was difficult given the tile we selected). He treated our job like it was his own home, at one point redoing something he wasn't satisfied with. Given the duration of our job, we gave him a key, and he let us know every day when he entered and exited our home, something we didn't even think to request or expect. I can't even think of what else to add to express our complete satisfaction other than we'd recommend him always and would use him again without question. Thanks Mike!

Mike and his crew were a pleasure to work with. My tile floor was a challenge and kitchen backsplash also. My 150 year old Victorian floors were tilted and walls not straight. They did an amazing job and always cleaned up. Everything was perfect.

We hired Ludlow Tile and Marble to replace our front entry and kitchen floor that was damaged by our refrigerator water line rupturing. Michael was excellent at communication since the first contact. He and his team were always on time, respectful of our home, cleaned up after every day of work, and extremely professional. Our project took a week and we are beyond satisfied with the work. We have showed family and friends since the work was completed and they are extremely impressed! We also have 3 dogs and a cat, so don't hesitate to get your work done, they were animal friendly and not at all disturbed by our furry children.

Ludlow Tile and Marble are amazing. They tiled our bathroom which was not an easy job. We had purchased very expensive tiles that required exceptional skill in the installation especially given the tile pattern we wanted on our wall. Mike, the person who installed the tiles took painstaking care in making sure each tile in the pattern was correct. The result is a work of art! From now on, we would not allow any company other than Ludlow to install tiles in our home. We rate them higher than 5 starts above!

I contacted Ludlow Tile and Marble for an estimate to tile my kitchen backsplash. Mike was very responsive and his quote was reasonable. He also kept in touch about scheduling me in. To me it was a good sign that they couldn’t do the work right away. I was willing to wait to get the work completed correctly. And I am glad I did. The finished product turned out wonderful. We recently renovated our bathroom and hired Ludlow Tile & Marble to do the tile work. We were extremely pleased during the entire process and with the end result. Quality We have worked with a lot of contractors over the years across building 2 houses. If you are considering tile or flooring work there really is no one else you need to call. Mike (actually all the Mikes) are amazing to work with, their attention to detail laying out the flooring, figuring everything to the exact measurements, taking into account how each area and angle will finish is quite a thing to watch and see the final product. Take a look at his previous work portfolio, it will blow you away. Keeping our house clean. People always dread the mess of doing work while living in their house. Mike and his team were almost unbelievable here. The entire area where it touches the rest of the house was sealed off with plastic, floor to ceiling, wall to wall. The place was left BAREFOOT CLEAN EVERY day, what a great experience to keep you house livable during construction. Price We had 5 contractors bid on the work, Mike’s prices were VERY competitive, I would never hire the cheapest, but he was far from the most expensive. He offered to extended discounts for buying tile, grout, etc. At the end of the day you want everyone to feel good about the work and get paid a fair amount for the quality. You will absolutely get this from Ludlow Tile. Overall experience The work your having done should last you for 10-20 or more years, you want it done right, high quality and a fair price. Ludlow Tile brings all of this and with the added bonus of a really great group of guys that show up every day, ready to work, very personable, and ULTRA clean in the work they do. They vacuumed and dusted parts of the house that picked up a little overflow dust from the work. Truly exceeded expectations. In the end you will feel really good about the whole experience and LOVE the results! Absolutely a 5 star rating! Call him before everyone finds out about his work. Happy to be a reference.

Ludlow Tile and Marble just completed tiling our foyer. Mike was very knowledgeable and helped us design the layout. Then he and his team came in and executed the project with perfection. They were professional and courteous. They were meticulous in protecting the work area and surrounding areas and cleaned up every day! Mike was very reasonable when compared to other contractors and even came back and fixed something we missed and without charge. A pleasure to work with and we will absolutely use him again in the future.

Mike and his team were extremely professional and conscientious while working at our house. They took the time to explain the process and made sure I was understanding and always happy. They did an incredible job restoring our entire first floor tile as well as both our upstairs bathroom floors and showers. They took the time to make sure every inch of these areas was perfect and as good as new. It was such a positive experience and I will definitely continue to use them in the future. Ludlow Tile and Marble did a wonderful, clean and meticulous job in completing the surround of my fireplace in my family's living room. The herringbone pattern required precise cuts that Ludlow Tile and Marble executed perfectly. They took their time and did it right while also being very polite.

Ludlow tile and marble, performed the ultimate kitchen remodel. From rip-out to final trim molding,their professionalism and dedication to detail is second to none. They chose the tile for the floor and the backsplash..They were given the cabinet and countertop choices ,and I could not be happier. When I first moved into my home I found that the tiny master bathroom was not ventilated properly and extremely outdated. I hired Ludlow Tile and Marble to gut my entire bathroom. Michael and I reviewed the design and he coordinated the entire bathroom renovation with the shower installation and plumbing. Mike did an absolute great job on my bathroom floor. Before ripping up the old tile, the bathroom was taped off with plastic to eliminate any dust and debri from spreading to other parts of my house. The new floor was laid down in 3 days along with a new toilet and new molding. I would recommend Mike Ludlow!!

I needed a small shower area tiled from floor to ceiling in a bathroom remodel in our home where the floor wasn't very level. Mike did a great job of making sure everything lined up and was level in the shower and on the floor!!! I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs tile works done. He does great designs and is very meticulous with his work!! I would use him again for a project any time.

Ludlow Tile did a fantastic job on our bathroom remodel. The work was done timely, exactly as described, and appropriately priced. I appreciated the meticulous attention to detail that they had with our project. Michael helped us with design choices and always asked for our feedback before doing something major in the project. Michael was punctual, always showing up when he said he would, and respectful of our home by laying down carpet protector and sealing off the bathroom from the rest of the house. Very neat and orderly so we didn't feel like we were living in a construction zone. Highly recommended and looking forward to booking him for our other bathroom soon.
