My home presented a unique challenge with an awkward kitchen layout, a perplexing hall, and an underutilized garage bay. I knew I needed a more functional space, but I was struggling to envision how to make it a reality. Morris Lare Design was instrumental in the success of our remolding project. Jillian and Alicia had a hand in everything from the design itself to the selection of furniture, lighting, rugs, and accessories. They became involved in our project after much of the planning had occurred, and we greatly appreciate their fresh ideas and problem-solving abilities that improved upon our initial plans. Our only regret is that we did not get Morris Lare Design involved from the very start! We definitely will next time! It isn’t often that you are able to find a true partner on a project. Jillian and Alicia were the perfect fit. They truly cared as much about our dream home as we did! They took the time with us as first-time home builders to get to know our wants and needs and help communicate with the builder to reach our desired outcome. We simply can't say enough positive things about our time working with Alicia, as well as the level of happiness received from the end results. Alicia takes the time needed to really see and understand her clients. This is such an important part of her work. Your space is a reflection of you not your designer. We've never felt her interest override ours. Ultimately it is a total collaboration of ideas that make the space so special. Her process is honest, involved and exciting. The expertise and direction provided by Jillian Lare has been instrumental in transforming the kitchen, laundry and basement spaces of our home. Jillian’s professional and personable approach made her easy to work with. She has stayed within our comfort level of design preference and selection. She is very detail oriented and has a great eye for color. Within the design process, she listened to our need of functionality and storage. She even sketched out a hutch made to look like a piece of furniture. The collaborative effort between she and the construction group resulted in a beautiful signature piece. Within the construction process, she is both flexible and resolute to outcomes. Her knowledge base and drive to stay atop elements that impact choices in the design process are very helpful as a client. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome of our new project spaces!Jillian also helped with the exterior of our home. Consultation and color renderings were instrumental in the decision process. The outcome is a sharp, refreshed color change with new lighting choices to our home exterior. We are grateful for Jillian and her passion for what she does well!!
